A $10,000 grant from the Kern Family Foundation brought significant equipment purchases for the culinary program at Mercyhurst North East including two new fryers, a baking oven, double stack oven and butcherblock table. By purchasing the items from AES Company, a division of Curtze, MNE realized additional savings.
This grant is the latest example of a generous relationship with Curtze, said Beth Ann Sheldon, assistant professor and director of the Hospitality Management and Culinary and Wine Institute.
