Each semester, Mercyhurst North East welcomes the public to campus for its Cultural Series with events spanning thought-provoking discussions to musical and dance performances by local artists.
Here’s the spring line-up in its entirety:
Politics in the Millennial Era
Wednesday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m.
Featuring Eric Wagner, instructor of political science and criminal justice at the Erie and North East campuses, this program will explore the interaction between those seeking office and the citizens who elect them. Specifically, the Millennial generation’s different views on partisanship, government and media will be explored.
The Basics of Buying and Selling Online
Wednesday, March 14, 7 p.m.
Learn more about the Internet marketplace and dangers of buying and selling online. Douglas Luthringer, owner of The Fast Mall Online Selling Services LLC, will share insights on pricing, research, taking good digital photos and shipping.
Swing into Spring
Sunday, April 15, 2 p.m.
St. Mary’s Chapel
Lake Erie Sound will lead this special a cappella barbershop concert sure to put you in a sunny mood. A reception will be held at the conclusion of the concert.
Spring Dance Collage
Sunday, April 29, 2 p.m.
Ridge Library Great Room
This afternoon of dance showcases four elite ensembles from Mercyhurst and the Erie region and includes a variety of dance genres. Perfect for the whole family, the event concludes with a reception.
