Dean's Achievement Scholarships
FOR MERCYHURST NORTH EAST STUDENTS

The higher your GPA (grade point average) the greater the Dean's Achievement Scholarship you are eligible to receive when you continue your studies at the Mercyhurst College Erie campus.

Traditional students with a degree from Mercyhurst North East will be awarded a Dean's Achievement Scholarship to continue your studies toward a degree at Mercyhurst College, Erie as follows:

2.5 - 2.74$ 7,000

Traditional Mercyhurst North East students with less than 60 credits but no degree from Mercyhurst North East are eligible to receive a $6,000 Dean's Achievement Scholarship to continue your studies at the Mercyhurst College Erie campus.

Adult Mercyhurst North East students with a degree from Mercyhurst North East that enroll full time at the Mercyhurst College Erie campus are eligible to receive a $2,200 Dean's Achievement Scholarship in addition to discounted tuition rates.

Endowed and restricted scholarships
Students may be eligible for one of the college's endowed or restricted scholarships. Students who meet the donor's specific criteria can apply to be considered for a scholarship. Those who receive an endowed scholarship must complete a thank you letter addressed to the donor of the scholarship and a "Consent to Publish" form as specified in the letter received from the director of student financial services.

Army ROTC scholarships
These scholarships can range up to $17,000 annually for two-, three- or four-year terms. Veterans with ROTC scholarships also receive GI Bill education benefits. Students should check with admissions on requirements for these scholarships.

Athletic Scholarships and Grants
Grants are awarded in basketball, baseball, tennis, lacrosse, field hockey, crew, soccer, ice hockey, cross country, golf, volleyball, field hockey, football, softball, wrestling, and waterpolo. Athletic grants vary from $500 to the actual cost of tuition, room, board and fees. Actual award amounts may vary depending upon the individual's ability as appraised by the individual athletic coach and on the student's financial need. Inquiry should be made directly to the coach within the Athletic Department. Students who receive scholarships must apply for state/federal aid.
