Jennings Named All American Kristie Jennings was honored today as she was named to the NJCAA All American first team for her play this past season. Jennings, a sophomore from Whitby, Ontario, led the Saints in points as she scored 51 goals and added 40 assists. She also led the team with 70 ground balls. Jennings, who was one of the first members of the program when it started two years ago, is also a two-time all region selection. The Saints went 4-4 overall this past year and qualified for the Region III Tournament.
Three Saints Named All Region Three members of the women’s lacrosse team at Mercyhurst North East were honored with spots on the All-Region team. Kristie Jennings (Whitby, ONT – Anderson) was named to the first team. This marks Jennings second all region selection. Jennings led the Saints in points with 51 goals and 40 assists. She also scooped up a team high 70 ground balls. Jordan Hogan (Golden, CO – Golden) and Jess Pietz (Orangeville, ONT – Orangeville) both were second team selections. Hogan, a freshman mid-fielder, scored 17 goals and notched 13 assists while getting 63 ground balls. Pietz led the Saints in goals with 58 and also added 13 assists. Pietz is also a two-time all region selection. In just their second season of play, the Saints went 4-4 overall and qualified for the Region III Tournament for the first time.
