The Mercyhurst North East Sports Medicine staff would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the campus of Mercyhurst North East. Our hope is that this page will make your trip easier, and answer any questions you may have before your arrival.
Mercyhurst North East’s athletic trainers will be available to assist you during your visit. Teams traveling with an athletic trainer are welcome to use our facilities. If traveling without an athletic trainer, we will be happy to accommodate your needs if prior arrangements have been made (Please note: coaches may not authorize treatment for any athlete. A note from the prescribing physician or athletic trainer must accompany any athlete requiring treatment).
Location of Training Room:
From the main entrance of the Liguori Fieldhouse, the Training Room is located in the northeast corner of the gymnasium, next to the wrestling room.
Mercyhurst North East Sports Medicine Services:
A certified athletic trainer will be on site for every event and ambulance service will be present at all lacrosse games.
Facilities:
All facilities will be available at least 1-½ hours prior to an event. If you need access to a facility prior to these times, please contact a member of the athletic training staff prior to your visit to make arrangements.
All visiting teams will be supplied with the following items:
• Water
• Cups / Water Bottles
• Ice and ice bags
• Biohazard equipment
• Emergency equipment
(splints, crutches, backboard, AED) – on sidelines
