Baseball Evan Agona - Head Coach Mercyhurst North East has named Evan Agona as the new Head Baseball Coach. Agona begins his duties immediately. Agona spent the last three years as an assistant coach at Thiel College in Greenville, PA. While at Thiel, Agona worked mostly with the outfielders and hitters as well as assisting in fundraising and recruiting. In each of the past two seasons, the Tomcats set new school records for wins in a season and set numerous school records in offensive categories. Agona earned his bachelor's degree from The College of Wooster in 2004. While at Wooster, Agona played for the Fighting Scots for four years, playing both infield and outfield. Wooster won the North Coast Athletic Conference Eastern Division all four years Agona was there. In 2002 and 2004, the Fighting Scots won the NCAC championship. Phone: (814) 725-6104 |
