- Arrange with your high school and/or other appropriate educational institution to have an official transcript sent to the Admissions office. The transcript should include class rank, grade point average and test scores (if available).
Take the basic skills assessment for counseling or advising purposes. These tests are administered on a bi-weekly basis and may be scheduled by calling (814) 725-6144.
The primary admission requirement for Mercyhurst North East is high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma. Other criteria may include SAT or ACT scores, personal recommendations, satisfactory achievement through work experience or a personal interview.
Associate Degree program requirements vary. Most programs require a minimum grade point average of 1.75 in high school or equivalent G.E.D. scores, and the successful completion of the Mercyhurst North East basic skills placement examination. On occasion, the basic skills placement examination requirement is waived. |
