Business Administration:
Sport Management Concentration

Program Description
The business administration-sport management degree program prepares students for entry-level positions in the sport industry, with a particular emphasis on the business aspect of the field. Students can enter into careers in intercollegiate athletics, professional sport teams, facility management, community-based programs, sport marketing and promotion, and corporate fitness programs. This concentration adds additional coursework in accounting, economics, management, and marketing. Throughout the sequence of courses, various exams will be made available to for students to become certified in personal training, pool management, water safety instruction, and CPR and first aid training.  

Degree Requirements
Students must earn an overall 2.0 Q.P.A., along with a minimum cumulative Q.P.A. of 2.0 in all major courses to meet graduation requirements.  A minimum of 63 credits is required for the completion of this associate degree program. All students are required to take the one-credit Freshman Experience course.
