  1. High school graduate or GED recipient with minimum overall GPA of 2.50.
  2. Complete high school courses in Algebra, Biology, and Chemistry with a minimum grade of C in each course.
  3. Preference will be given to applicants who score at or above 900 on the SATs.
  4. Applicants may be required to take a basic skills assessment test to determine placement in appropriate English and math courses.  If an applicant does not meet the required scores to enter into College Writing I and/or Elementary Algebra, he or she must take preparatory classes. Placement into College Writing I and Elementary Algebra will enable the student to enter into the two-year track program of study. If preparatory English or Math are required, a three-year track will be recommended.  The skills test is required for students who achieved below 850 on their SATs or who have never taken the SATs, as well as those who have been out of school for several years.
  5. Two (2) letters of recommendation.  A form is available for the letters of recommendation. [download - PDF]
  6. A total of twenty hours (20) of work or volunteer experience in two different physical therapy settings is required. This may be documented on facility letterhead or on the Observation Form [download - PDF]. NOTE: May be in progress at time of consideration.
Transfer credits must be current (within 3 years) for the Major courses (Anatomy & Physiology I, II, Kinesiology, etc.). An exam may be taken to demonstrate competency.
