LPN to RN Bridge Graduates of state-approved practical nursing programs are able to earn an associate of science degree in nursing and prepare for licensure as a registered professional nurse (RN) through Mercyhurst North East’s ASN articulation program. The program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Registered nurses assist physicians in providing care to patients who are sick, injured, convalescent, and disabled and provide compassionate care and support for the dying and their family.
