In order to be admitted to Mercyhurst North East, you must submit an application, along with a non-refundable $25 application fee, and arrange to have official transcripts sent directly to MNE. All of the above information should be mailed to: Mercyhurst North East, Office of Admissions, 16 West Division St., North East, PA, 16428. You can also apply for free online at apply.mercyhurst.edu.
The primary admission requirement for Mercyhurst North East is a high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma. Other criteria may include personal recommendations, satisfactory achievement through work experience or a personal interview. Program requirements vary. Most programs require a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in high school or equivalent GED scores. The SAT and/or ACT are not required for admission to MNE, however, students may be required to take a general placement exam. Acceptance into the practical nursing program is conditional until receipt and review of a required physical exam and criminal record and child abuse clearance reports.
