The radio broadcasting concentration is designed to provide students with skills in the industry of commercial radio.
Students get hands-on training through Mercyhurst North East's own radio station, WYNE 1530 AM. Students have a chance to be involved with the daily operations of the station, including broadcasting and sales.
Students are prepared for positions in various phases of commercial radio broadcasting with courses that address radio production, promotion, sales, journalism, broadcasting, computers/technology production, as well as a variety of practicum and internships.
