Communication students are educated to understand the importance of delivering the appropriate message to the proper audience through the most suitable medium. Graduates will be prepared for employment in various positions at television studios, radio stations, newspapers, or magazines, where they can serve as copy editors, desktop publishers, audio production persons, photographers, or website designers. They can also enter the field of public relations with a keen understanding of appropriate message design. Furthermore, graduates can work in the areas of fundraising and promotion, either freelance or as members of a larger organization.
