Bertolini Selected as Coach of the Year
Mercyhurst North East University head baseball coach Dan Bertolini was selected as the Region III Coach of the year as he saw his team win the Region III title for the first time in the programs history when they defeated Monroe Community College 8-4 in the title game.
Shane Wagner Wins NJCAA Region III Player of the Year
Wagner led all of Region III in batting average hitting .425. He set a North East school record with 45 RBI’s and his 9 triples is also a school record.
