Cost and Financial Aid
The Sisters of Mercy believed that a college education should be available to all who aspire to it. At Mercyhurst North East, we preserve this ideal by pledging to help you navigate the financial aid process with as little stress and anxiety as possible.
Ranked the 15th most affordable small Catholic college in the U.S. by College Values Online, Mercyhurst North East works with applicants to find all the available federal, state and institutional financial aid resources and scholarships that can help you achieve little to no out-of-pocket costs for the year. Nearly 100 percent of our students qualify for financial aid.
For new students, both the Office of Admissions and the Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) are available to answer your questions and discuss your financial aid options. A counselor can help by assisting you in filling out the FAFSA® form and other paperwork required for various types of aid. He or she can also explain your financial aid package and determine your tuition amount.
Making your college education affordable is a top priority at Mercyhurst North East. If you follow the appropriate steps, our staff can give you accurate estimates for your cost of attendance, financial aid, and bottom line tuition for your first year.
