Visit Our Campus

Many students find campus visits to be one of the most important considerations when deciding on a college or university. The campus visit helps you understand the unique culture and climate of a campus — helpful in deciding whether or not a certain school is "right" for you. With one of the most picturesque and friendly campuses in the region, we invite you to come see what make Mercyhurst North East special.

Individual Campus Visits

Individual campus visits are the best way to experience campus and get the answers specific to your interests and goals. On an individual visit, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor to discuss your program of interest, student life and financial services. You’ll also have the opportunity to tour campus, including housing if you’re thinking about living on campus. We’ll use this opportunity to learn more about your and offer you suggestions on what MNE can do to help you meet your educational and/or career goals.

Open Houses

The Office of Admissions hosts open houses several times each year, usually in the fall and spring. Open houses allow you to tour campus and meet with an admissions counselor as well as faculty representatives from each major. 

Fall 2018 open houses are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 3

Group Tours

At Mercyhurst North East, we welcome schools and agencies who would like to expose their students to college campuses. The experience of visiting a campus like ours offers students a glimpse of "what could be" in terms of their academic future. In order to make it the best possible experience for our visitors, we've created the following guidelines:

  • There must be at least one adult chaperone per every 10 students.
  • Tour groups visiting campus between February 1 and September 15 must be comprised of high school juniors and seniors only. Groups with younger students may visit campus between September 16 and January 31.
  • The price of lunch on campus for visiting students is $5 per student. Admissions will pay the additional $2.25 per student.
  • Arrival times must be as accurate as possible, as classrooms must be scheduled for meeting with visiting groups, and we are working around existing scheduled class times.

 

To coordinate a group tour, please contact the Office of Admissions (814-725-6144) at least 30 days prior to the visit date. 

A group tour of Mercyhurst North East takes approximately 90 minutes. Please plan accordingly.
