About Mercyhurst North East
Located in the heart of the largest Concord grape-growing region in the world on the shores of Lake Erie, Mercyhurst North East is a fully-accredited college founded in 1991 on an 84-acre site that was once home to the St. Mary’s Seminary. For more than 17 years, students have chosen Mercyhurst North East as a place to earn a certificate or degree as either the start of a bachelor's degree or to find immediate employment.
MNE offers
32 academic programs, including 24 associate degrees, seven certificates and an RN to
BSN bachelors completion program. With about 1,050 enrolled students, including nearly 300 living on campus,
MNE is proud to compete in nine
NJCAA sports and supports more than 20 clubs and organizations.
MNE is one of four Mercyhurst campuses, all of which were founded under the mission of the Sisters of Mercy, who believe that education should be available to all students. The
Mercyhurst Erie campus offers more than 100 bachelor's degree programs and concentrations, as well as six graduate programs. Mercyhurst opened its third campus,
Mercyhurst West, in neighboring Girard, Pa, in the fall of 2006, and has been operating
Mercyhurst Corry out of the Corry Higher Education Council building for more than 25 years.
