Mercyhurst to host Erie Diocese's annual Intercollegiate Gathering
Mercyhurst College Campus Ministry is gearing up to welcome 100 students from seven area colleges and universities for the Diocese of Erie’s Intercollegiate Gathering on Saturday, Feb. 4. The annual day of faith, fellowship and fun includes participants from Mercyhurst Erie and North East, Gannon, Penn State Behrend, Edinboro, Allegheny, Clarion and Grove City.

International Dinner Series launches new season beginning Jan. 19
You won’t have to travel more than a few miles to enjoy the cuisine of Asia, Italy, Spain, France and Greece this winter, thanks to the International Dinner Series offered through the Culinary and Wine Institute at Mercyhurst North East (MNE), which begins in January with two dates, the 19th and 26th.

Police academy to graduate 98th class
Thirty-six cadets representing the 98th Class of the Mercyhurst Municipal Police Training Academy will graduate on Friday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Ridge Building on the campus of Mercyhurst North East (MNE).

Mercyhurst municipal police academy slates field sobriety training
The Mercyhurst Municipal Police Training Academy at North East has scheduled a field sobriety training class during which 28 police officers from across northwest Pennsylvania will learn how to put drinkers through their paces and watch for signs of who’s had one too many. The goal is to better equip officers to detect individuals who may be driving under the influence.
